Couchbase Server...

Yeah, they finally released the 2.0.0 BETA...

What does this mean? As far as I know / have tested the CPU utilization issues seem to be solved ( You know, when running the Couchbase Server with more than five buckets, the old 2.0 builds were consuming all CPU ressources with NO traffic. Just running the server was a big mess. But they fixed this.

Wahrscheinlich bleibe ich bei meiner alten Kombi aus Std. OSX Terminal und zsh, aber vieles von dem, was man da sehen kann wollte man ja schon immer wieder mal haben. Ich bin jedenfalls schwer beeindruckt und vielleicht diffundiert ja das eine oder andere Feature in der Zukunft in das Std. Setup.

Firefox Plugin: Image search

Wow... didn't expect this still works but it does. In fact this "plugin" is just a OpenSearch XML based definition which adds the image search at shotshop to the search engines selection inside firefox. But I am quite happy that there are still people downloading and using it:
